Driving directions:10 km south-west of Wałbrzych there is Unisław Śląski. Driving from it down the road no 380 to Głuszyca you cross Rybnica Leśna. There you must turn right to Andrzejówka hostel. After you come to the hostel, park your car and follow a green trail along the road downhill, to the right beyond the hostel. After covering about 400m, at the Y-shaped fork of the roads, before a water intake, the trail turns right. In this place you need to, however, go straight ahead, not following the trail temporarily. After traveling about 50 m you reach a yellow trail and sticking to it, you will reach the ruins of the castle.

In the years of 1350-1355 the stronghold was in the possession of Reincz, Hans and Jerislaw of Swenkinveld house, so as to come into hands of Karol IV in 1356. The subsequent owners of the castle were Hersko of Rozlovicz, Bolko II and his wife Agnieszka. In 1388 the building became a private property, and in 1483 was seized by the armies of Maciej Korwin. The castle was deserted in 1497 and since then it was falling into ruin.
