Driving directions:
Bagieniec is situated around 5 km north of Świdnica. The easiest way to reach it is heading from Świdnica down the road without number for Żarów. On the way you cross Wiśniowa, where you need to turn left to Bagieniec. Driving straight ahead down the main road, in a while at the sharp turn of the road there will be visible a castle.

Former name: Teichenau
The castle in Bagieniec was erected on the initiative of von Rohnau family in the second half of the XVIth cent., and then it was thoroughly rebuilt by the following owners in the XVIIIth and XIXth cent. Allegedly the current owner of the castle is Florian Lauda, brother of the famous racing driver, Niki Lauda.
