Historical outline:
The Zamoyski palace in Kozłówka was built in the first half of the XVIIIth cent. by Tekla from the Pepłowskis and Michał both of the Bielińskis. However, the reconstruction from the turn of the XIXth and XXth cent., performed by Konstanty Zamoyski, gave the final shape of the palace. Hence some sources attribute the construction of the palace to this family. In 1944 the museum was formed there which functions up to this day.
