Driving directions:
Cieszków lies on the border of the Lower Silesian and the Greater Poland provinces. The easiest way to arrive in there from Milicz is to drive down the road no 15 for Krotoszyn. In Cieszków you must turn right towards Gądkowice and follow the asphalt road. On the left, deep down there the park is visible, in which the castle stood.
Historical outline:
The history of the castle in Cieszków is not quite known. Originally there existed the castle probably built in the XIIIth cent. by the dukes of Głogów. Perhaps at its place the palace arose in the XVIIIth cent. which also did not survive till contemporary times. Only the bridge over moat has preserved.
