Driving directions:
Driving from Bolesławiec down the road no 297 for Zielona Góra you cross Trzebień. There you need to drive straight ahead down the main road and turn left into the Parkowa Street. Subsequently drive ahead down it until you come to the crossroads with the Mostowa Street. You have to drive straight through the junction and after around 10 m there is located the park on the right side. In that park, beyond the clearing, in shrubbery there are the relics of walls.
Historical outline:
Customarily it was assumed to call the building in Trzebień a castle, but owing to time of its emergence the more suitable designation would be a palace. It was built by the house of Bibran at the start of the XVIIth cent., but already in the Thirty Years’ War suffered destruction. In 1683 the palace was reconstructed, in the XVIIIth cent. - was considerably extended, and in the XIXth cent. - renovated. Destructions from 1945 led the building to complete ruin and just after the war it was dismantled.
